CHINA


China Quality Open Courseware

CNQOCW or China Quality Open Courseware provides free teaching and course materials created by many universities in China. The open courseware project is launched by China Open Resource for Education (CORE) to enhance higher education in China, promote open sharing of educational resources in China, and share Chinese open courseware globally.


JAPAN


KEIO Open Courseware

Keio Opencourseware (Keio OCW) is open-ended educational content from Keio University's courses, including syllabi and lecture notes, made available on the Internet to support higher education. This content may be utilized by anyone free of charge for non-commercial educational purposes.


KYOTO-U Open Courseware

The OCW@KU Project, which involves making educational course materials available to the public via a website, was initiated through a cooperative relationship with the OCW Project at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The goal of the OCW@KU Project is to transmit educational information from Kyoto University to the rest of the world.


OSAKA University Open Courseware

Osaka University Open Course Ware Pilot Site is a collections of Osaka University's educational materials which is actually used in the courses taught at Osaka University. The materials are published so that they may be accessed by those who are interested in higher education at Osaka University.


TOKYO TECH Open Courseware

Tokyo Tech OCW (Open Course Ware) is a platform maintained by Tokyo Institute of Technology for providing free access to course materials for users around the world aiming at releasing the Tokyo Tech's high-level educational resources on science and technology as the world's public property.


UT Open Courseware

The OpenCourseWare of the University of Tokyo (UT OCW) is a free and open Web site on which is presented course calendar, syllabus, educational notes and texts of the University of Tokyo.


WASEDA Open Courseware

An open courseware created by Waseda University. The courses offered are in Computer Science and Asian Studies.


UNITED STATES


CARNEGIE MELLON's Open Learning Initiative (OLI)

A collection of "cognitively informed," openly available and free online courses and course materials that enact instruction for an entire course in an online format created by Carnegie Mellon University. OLI grew out of collaboration among cognitive scientists, experts in human computer interaction and seasoned faculty who have both a deep expertise in their respective fields and a strong commitment to excellence in higher education.


JHSPH Open Courseware

Challenges to the world's health escalate daily. As part of its mission to protect health and prevent disease and disability, the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health feels a moral imperative to provide equal and open access to information and knowledge about the obstacles to the public's health and their potential solutions. The OpenCourseWare (OCW) project provides free, searchable, access to JHSPH's course materials for educators, students, and self-learners around the world.


MERLOT

MERLOT (Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching) is a free and open resource designed primarily for faculty and students of higher education. Links to online learning materials are collected along with annotations such as peer reviews and assignments. The MERLOT community is made up of individual members and higher education, institutional, and corporate partners and affiliates dedicated to improving education.


MIT OpenCourseWare

MIT OCW provides users with open access to the syllabi, lecture notes, course calendars, problem sets and solutions, exams, reading lists, even a selection of video lectures, from 1250 MIT courses representing 34 academic disciplines and all five of MIT's schools. The initiative will include materials from 1800 courses by the year 2007.


NCSU Open Courseware Lab

The Open Courseware Laboratory was founded at North Carolina State University in 1998 by Professor Michael Rappa. The mission of the Lab is to invent novel ways of using the Internet to promote the open exchange of knowledge within the academic community. This includes the provision of research and course materials that are made freely available on the World Wide Web for non-commercial use.


SOFIA Open Content Initiative

Sofia (Sharing Of Free Intellectual Assets) project is an open content initiative launched by the Foothill - De Anza Community College District. CA in March of 2004. The goal of Sofia is to publish community college-level course content and make it freely accessible on the web to support teaching and learning.


TUFTS Open Courseware

An open courseware created by Tufts University.


USU Open Courseware

USU open courseware is a free and open educational resource launched by Utah State University. It provides free, searchable, access to USU's course materials for educators, students, and self-learners around the world.


VIETNAM


FETP Open Courseware

FETP open Courseware provides free teaching and research materials online launched by Fulbright Economics Teaching Program, Fulbright School, Vietnam. Course syllabi, lecture notes, reading lists and problem sets used in many one-year mid-career program and executive education courses are available online and the project also includes all Fulbright School materials (subject to copyright law).
