Call for PANACEA Cohort-2 applications

The new call for application PANACEA Cohort-2 has just been opened. Applicants for Master and Doctorate level are now invited to apply online: http://www.panacea-mundus.eu/. Last date of receipt of applications is 20 March 2015.




This is a Second Call for applications, and a limited number of students will be accommodated. Nationalities that will be given higher priority are Cambodia, Myanmar and Laos.

AIT students are requested to check the website, and consult their advisors, field of study coordinators, or supervisors prior to submitting their application to discuss the feasibility of attending courses in the proposed host university in Europe.

The grant will cover travel, accommodation and insurance costs and tuition fees at the host university. All mobilities are granted for exchanges. Therefore a student needs to be enrolled in an AIT program before the mobility begins.

All AIT applicants are considered TG1 (Target Group 1) i.e. "students and academics registered in one of the universities members of the partnership." Target 3 (TG3) includes people who are in vulnerable situations, for social or political reasons. Exclusion: A student must have not received an EM Action 2 Scholarship for the level that he/she is applying for, must have not resided nor or carried out main activity (studies, work, etc) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in a European countries.

The mobility will begin from September 2015 and last until July 2016 -- typically for a period of 10 months, depending on the choice of study at the Host University. Details are provided in the link http://www.panacea-mundus.eu/ during your registration.

Important: Once you have completed the online application, please submit a hard copy of your file to the Career Center, First Floor of the Administration building.

The results are expected around the third week of May 2015.

Additional Notes:

1. Candidates who wish to apply at the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL) may write to claire.deburbure@uclouvain.be prior to registering online, in order to receive provisional approval by the promotors, so that the selection process can be smooth and efficient.
2. Candidates interested to apply at the University of Pavia Italy, in the field of Environmental Engineering and/or Sciences, the following courses are highly needed:
