Dr Harminder Pal Singh joins as Visiting Assistant Professor
Dr. Harminder Pal Singh has joined the Natural Resource Management (NRM) field of study in AIT’s School of Environment, Resources and Development (SERD) as visiting Assistant Professor.
Dr. Singh serves as Assistant Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Environmental Studies, Panjab University Chandigarh. He received his Bachelor’s, Master’s and Ph.D. degrees from Panjab University, India. His research interests include Chemical Ecology, Plant Invasion Ecology, Plant Volatile Oils. Natural Herbicides, Metal toxicity, and Phytoremediation. With over 2300 citations, Dr. Singh has an H-Index of 30.
He joined AIT on 30 September 2015, and shall serve the Institute for one semester. He has been seconded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
At AIT, Dr. Singh will be responsible for teaching the course “Ecological Principles for Natural Resource Management” (ED 76.01) in the August 2015 semester.
