Prof Antaryami Mishra joins AIT as Visiting Professor
Prof. Antaryami Mishra has been seconded to the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) as Visiting Professor for the August 2016 semester.
Prof. Mishra is Professor and Head of the Departments of Mechanical and Production Engineering at Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Sarang, Odisha, India. Prior to this position, he has also served at Larsen and Toubro Ltd. Kansbahal Works (Heavy Engineering manufacturing unit).
Prof. Mishra obtained his Bachelor’s in Technology in Mechanical Engineering from University College of Engineering, Burla, Odisha in 1980; Master’s in Machine Design and Analysis from Regional Engineering College , Rourkela (NIT), Odisha in 1985; and Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 1998 in the field of Biomedical Engineering.
During his stint at AIT, Prof. Mishra will teach the subject ‘Advanced material science for design and manufacturing’ (Course No.AT-73.17)
